Look for the Best Spot
You may think that since herbs can grow fast, you can simply leave them growing without tending. Look for the best spot around your home wherein they can be exposed to light. (natural or artificial) You are recommended to place plants at around the east or west side for the most amount of natural light. There may be times when you would need to place your herbs at different areas depending on the amount of light that they need to have.
Do Not Let Herbs Swim in Water
You have to remember that herbs are not water plants which means that exposing them to too much water will not be beneficial for you at all since they may die in the process. Remember to provide them with plants that provide enough drainage and make sure that wherever you will place them, the excess water will not ruin the items that you have at home.
Let Herbs Be Exposed to Natural Temperatures
You have to remember that when it comes to the temperature you are going to expose your herbs, natural temperature is the best. Exposing your plants to natural temperature will make sure that your herbs will grow well. Remember that some herbs may grow better when you have more heat while others would grow better when they are exposed to a cooler environment.
After a few months of growing indoor plants, you will notice that they have grown bigger but at the same time, they can provide you with the fresh herbs that you need for your meals. As long as you take good care of them, they can be healthy and last a long time.
